Bowl in floral decoration in the Ming style, on the underside is a so-called chocolate-base. Small chip on the rim. Such Vietnamese imitations of the blue and white Chinese porcelains date from a relatively short period of time when, for political reasons, the supply of Chinese goods for the Southeast Asian market was largely interrupted, and almost all of them, like the present piece, have come down to us from sunken ships.
