Our 12th auction at TIBERIUS-AUCTIONS will once again feature some very special paintings and antiques. From May 7 – 9, 2024, over 1300 lots will be up for bidding. From antiquity to the present day, there will be a wide range of high-quality, curious, unusual and charming works of art.

The colonnade clock made of green jade with gold and diamonds, an emerald from Colombia weighing approx. 45 ct, an 18ct gold bag from Tiffany (approx. 340 g), four rare medals from the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy are just as worthy of mention. Monarchy are just as noteworthy as the painting, which, due to its history, could be an autograph work by Rembrandt. Paintings from the circle of Lukas Cranach the Elder, Frans van Mieris, Pieter Casteels, Anton Raphael Mengs, Laszlo Mednyanszky, Béla Kádár, Leo Freiherr von König, Toulouse-Lautrec, an important collection of navy paintings of the Austrian monarchy and many more await you. Eduard Josef Wimmer-Wisgrill presents himself with 33 watercolor fashion drawings for the Wiener Werkstätte, an absolutely unique collection!

An armchair “Retour d’Égypte” from the estate of Joseph Freiherr von Hammer-Purgstall, the world-famous Orient researcher and foremost Freemason of his time, as well as an antique marble sculpture of the Mother and Child (3rd/4th century), the Entombment of Artus Quellinus I, the best friend of Peter Paul Rubens, a large Buddha, Burma 17th/18th century, and several bronzes by Gottfried Kumpf.
