Colourful vase with overglaze enamel painting and gilded accents in the Shoza style. Depicted are seven arhats accompanied by a white dragon and a red shishi in a landscape of bamboo. Two of the arhats hold a sutra, one rides the dragon and another interacts with the shishi. There are various designs on the base and neck of the vase, the bottom is marked “Kutani” in gold on a stylised red incense burner.
